The University Ladder League
Welcome to the home of the UK Ultimate University Ladder Leagues.
The Uni Ultimate scene in mainland UK is divided in five regions; Scotland, Northern, Midlands, South West, and South East. Within these regions there are annual indoor and outdoor qualifying tournaments, which promote the top three teams to Nationals in April. From 2006, there are also regional Ladder Leagues active within each region. These leagues aim to increase the number of outdoor competitive games University Ultimate teams play within their regions during a season, outside of qualifiers. They provide a frame into which results of friendlies between teams can be put, and the progression of those teams on the regional table, combined with the build-up to Qualifiers and Nationals, serves as motivation to each team to continue playing Ladder League games.
At the end of each season, the top finishers in each region are awarded prizes such as discs, t-shirts and hoodies, donated by the participating clubs, and get the top seeds for the next regional Ladder League season.
Below is a map indicating the location of each of the UK mainland's 56 active University Ultimate clubs. For a more detailed regional breakdown, see the , for a list of the teams in each region, see the , or to find out more about Ultimate in the UK, go to ukultimate.com.
