Ladder League highlights video (Brighton event) will be up on
www.seultimate.org shortly... Yeah Rich White.
Small snippet of a funny story I heard: Thrown 2 v Reading, someone
from Reading lays out in the endzone for the score, drops the disc.
Picks it up anyway, and starts playing in the other direction.
Everyone starts playing in the other direction, they score. Someone
(Ham?) thankfully pointed out they were going the wrong way AND it had
been a turnover...
Lost property left on the balconies at Sussex:
Green 'Nice Pear' T-shirt
Blue & Grey 'Brasil' jacket
Black 'I can show you the way' T-shirt
XL black Helly Hansen long-sleeve shirt with white stripes along the
top of the sleeve.
Red Puma tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the sides
Small grey 'Rebel Sports' joigging bottoms
Medium Old Navy long-sleeved white shirt
Large white burton shirt
Dark blue 'Quicksilver 69' shirt
White 'Lost in music' shirt
Nike black headband
Medium topman white shirt

Black Surrey Scorpions shirt #3
3 odd socks.
Anything else in particular that someone has lost, e-mail me and I

Cheers again guys!

Another Bob-announcement:
Ok,
Sorry for the wait, but I can now confirm the 16 teams entered into SE
Indoor regionals in Brighton on 12/13 November are:
Mohawks
Brunel
Strange Blue
Thrown
Disc Doctors
Aye-Aye
UnderCoverLovers
Holloway Hammers
Roehampton
Reading Dragons
Surrey Scorpions
Sublime
Mohawks 2
Brunel 2
Strange Blue 2
Thrown 2
On Saturday the pools will be split between 2 venues, Sussex uni for 2
pools in the morning, and Stanley Deason (in Brighton) for 2 pools,
and 6 crossover games in the afternoon, meaning almost all teams will
have to be at Stanley Deason at the end of Saturday. Sorry about this,
but it was unavoidable.
Good news is we are at Sussex uni all day Sunday...
Team start times are as follows:
FIRST GAMES:
09:00, Sussex Uni: Surrey vs Mohawks 2, Sublime vs Thrown 2
09:20, Sussex Uni: Holloway vs Reading, Brunel vs UCL
12:30, Stanley Deason: Strange Blue vs Thrown
12:50, Stanley Deason: Mohawks vs SB2
13:10, Stanley Deason: Disc Doctors vs Brunel 2
13:30, Stanley Deason: Aye-Aye vs Roehampton
Games finish at 18:30 on Saturday, tournament finishes at 18:00 on Sunday.
Accommodation is being sorted out for those who requested it. Because
of the crazy pool start times, please could those teams that requested
accommodation confirm: if you will now be coming down Saturday instead
of Friday, or vice verse, and # of players (especially those of you
with 2 teams).
In other news, the tournament is triple elimination, same as last
year, and with the new pull rules which are being used at nationals
(they will be sent out shortly). We will also have sandwiches and
snacks available at both venues, both days, lots of prizes, and a
kick-ass party.
Captains pack with directions, schedule, and all sorts of useful stuff
will be sent out to teams entered early next week,
have a good weekend and see you all in Brighton!

And a little something from myself:
Hey all,
In case anyone was wondering, the list of teams there is not in order
of seed. To save the time of the few who're probably analysing the
first games to work out what the seedings must be, I've appended them
to the bottom of this email. Note that these are at my discretion and
I won't be changing my mind about the 1st teams seedings before
Regionals. The schedule pretty much done and dusted, and the 2nd
teams seedings are making it as unlikely as it can be that a team'll
meet their first team in the middle-8 bracket and be denied a place at
NTN (I'm learning, Aye-Aye, don't think I forgot about that).
Please can everyone remember to bring their Ladder League prize
donations to the tournament. So far I have two Disc Doctors discs
(never been thrown, but both have legendary 3-pint challenge
experience), on top of this people have hinted at:
Brunel Ultimate t-shirt
Holloway Hammers t-shirt
Mohawks t-shirt
Brunel Ultimate disc
Holloway Hammers disc
Surrey Scorpions discs x2
Depending on the response, the prizes will be handed out to the top
finishers and spirit winners at the end of March.
Looking forward to what should be a great competition,
Felix

11.10.05
No luck from anyone else in the country, so we're going to try to squeeze the tournament into Brighton, Saturday will be spread over two sportscentres which are miles away from each other, but hopefully the scheduling will mean this won't be too much of a problem. Even with this, pitch time is reduced from last year to 18 hours in total. We'll do our best.
27.09.05
Alia is trying to pursuade someone in Iceni to look around for suitable halls etc to host the tournament...
21.09.05
Okay, the bid deadline passed without any bids being submitted, but the Mohawks are still working things out to host the tournament in Brighton. Their university hall is half booked out for Saturday, so they are looking into spreading the first day of the tournament over two venues.
13.09.05
It looks like the Mohawks might be able to host indoor regionals, which'll most likely mean it'll have to be limited to 16 teams again. They'll be checking out their halls this week to see if they can book one of the weekends, watch this space. Bid deadline just four days away...
09.09.05
It doesn't look like Aye-Aye will be able to host Indoor Regionals on either of the proposed dates (5/6th or 12/13th November), which is a shame as they have a nice set of halls.
It might be possible for Sussex (Mohawks) to host it again, but their halls can only ever really hold 16 teams, which would mean plenty of second teams being turned down like last year.
Whichever way you look at it, more EOIs are needed, and soon! The EOI deadline has passed and the Bid deadline is just 8 days away...
Bid Deadline: 17th September
